Washington County Rural Telephone Cooperative d/b/a Tele-Media Solutions Selects Pannaway's Service Convergence Network (SCN™) for the Delivery of Triple Play Services to Indiana

Tele-Media Solutions Continues to be the Premier Telecommunications Provider in South Central Indiana

Portsmouth, NH - December 6, 2005 - Pannaway Technologies, Inc., designers and developers of RUS listed, converged broadband voice, video and data platforms, today announced that Washington County Rural Telephone Cooperative d/b/a Tele-Media Solutions has selected its pure IP, Service Convergence Network (SCN™) access solution as a replacement for their existing DLCs, and to deliver converged Triple Play voice, video and data services to Indiana residents in portions of Clark, Floyd, Scott and Washington counties. Tele-Media Solutions is one of 8 telephone cooperatives and 35 independent telephone companies in Indiana and has been delivering communication services since 1952.

"From a performance perspective, the Pannaway solution will allow us to enhance our existing voice, video and data services to include VoIP, video interactivity and data security, said Charles Coon, General Manager at Tele-Media Solutions. Additionally, using Pannaway's industry-unique, Broadband Access Manager package, we will have the ability to upgrade services and test copper lines remotely which we anticipate will result in a 50% reduction in on-site technical visits. It was this combination of enhanced performance and automated broadband management that made Pannaway the clear choice for Tele-Media Solutions."

Selection criteria used in Tele-Media Solutions' decision making process included:

Broadband Access Manager (BAM™), an important component of Pannaway's Service Convergence Network solution, is a sophisticated but extremely affordable broadband element management system (EMS) that enables telcos like Tele-Media Solutions to reduce the installation complexity and operational expenses (OPEX) associated with rolling out and maintaining voice, video, and data services.

Leveraging a combination fiber and copper plant, Tele-Media Solutions will enhance its existing video and DSL feature / performance capabilities and plans to transition its existing DMS 10 voice users to a SIP-based VoIP system with full lifeline / E 911 support. These and other features such as enhanced messaging and Video on Demand (VoD) are a sampling of the next-generation capabilities that will be available with Tele-Media Solutions' integrated IP enabled platform—powered by Pannaway's advanced access technology. Tele-Media Solutions plans to migrate to these new and improved broadband services beginning first quarter of 2006.

"We are pleased that Tele-Media Solutions has selected Pannaway as their access provider of choice for this significant infrastructure upgrade, especially in light of the fact that other major access providers were evaluated," said Joseph Russillo, Regional Sales Vice President at Pannaway. "This company's goal is to continue to be the premier telecommunications provider in south central Indiana and based on the new feature and performance capabilities that their new network will deliver, it is our belief that they will attain that goal."
